Review

A continuous series of miniature sandbox environments showcases Nintendo's longstanding design prowess, weaving together joy, sorrow, anger, and delight through an engaging storyline, vast collectible elements, and enjoyable puzzles. Both newcomers and veteran gamers can smoothly experience the story.

For players new to the Paper Mario series, this is an extraordinarily charming entry. Its clever imagination and unique combat system set it apart from other RPG titles, though regular mob battles can feel a bit complex.
